Thank you so much for you support and feedback for BANISH! It was voted as the #1 Most Enjoyable Game, #1 Horror Game, and #1 Sound Design in Scream Roulette, and I've decided to work through my shock and disbelief by releasing an update for the game!

BANISH is now more epic, hellish and scary... but also a little more forgiving. Scroll down for full patch notes!

Did you think BANISH was hellish enough? You thought wrong. Satanic hellfires now ripple through the woods, engulfing anything (including you) in their path.

I would rather have players experience BANISH in a single run without having to repeat the game in frustration, and the new addition of Hellfire increases the challenge - therefore health points have been increased from 7 to 10.

The creatures of the woods (which I've lovingly named Spooksters) have been imbued with more malice. Don't let them scare you too much!

I've heard your complaints about the whispers being difficult to understand, so I've added the ability to replay incantations by pressing the 'R' key.

Full patch notes:

• Added satanic hellfire that travels through the world and damages the player.
• Increased health points from 7 to 10.
• Improved "spookster" enemies to be more dynamic and intimidating.
• Added functionality to replay the current whisper within rituals.
• Added a disclaimer screen to the start of the game.
• Added rocks throughout the level to make the environment more distinct.
• Added wicker dolls that hang from trees throughout the level.
• Reduced motion blur.
• The tome now lights up with every correct word of a ritual.
• Implemented stricter security measures to prevent the witch from entering our reality.
